Jack -
With no connection to the VOX connector on the back of the L-4B, the
Multimeter will read any RF forward or reflected.
You should read ~1.9 kV in CW and ~2.6 kV in SSB on the Plate Voltage
position.
If you push in the AGC/Standby knob and short the two pin VOX connector
on the rear panel (~30V {at} ~60 mA), you should see (assuming Eimac 3-500Z
tubes) ~170 mA Plate Current in CW and ~260 mA in SSB with no drive applied.
