Sterling Garwood made an utterence to the
drakelist gang

The knob is a plastic cylinder that fits on the ends of the two metal
lever switches.
The cylinder is plastic, about 1/2 in long and maybe 1/4 in diameter
(I'll have to dig the broken ones out of the drawer to measure).
They just slip over the flat metal lever and are held on by friction.
They have a nasty habit of cracking along the length of the cylinder
and are small enough that any glue job is almost certainly doomed.
