Honestly, I don't know about the Braves budget. But I know that (temporary
memory loss... what's that guy's name? Scho.... something?) failed to
extend contracts with some of the key pitchers (Glavine being one) so
whenever his contract runs out, the Braves might not have the funds to entice
him to stay. Especially if they're just trying to keep their powerhitters
like Justice and McGriff.
