You'll find plenty of shopping and museums in the area for
your wife and kids.  There's a very popular "Conch Train"
ride that takes visitors all over Key West and points out
all of the historic sites.  (It's well worth the cost!)
Then there's the Key West Aquarium, the KW Shell Warehouse,
Sponge Factory, Mel Fischer's Underwater Treasure Museum,
Ernest Hemingway's house, bar-hopping along Duval Street,
the Sunset Celebration in Mallory Square.......  Well, you
get the picture, there's plenty to do.
You might want to prepare your kids with a little discussion
about "alternative lifestyles" as they'll see just about
everything in Key West.
