For $329.97 you just can't beat this deal...I was lucky and put one in

Maybe, but at least you've got 80 channels in that bank left to lockout
and later open up for new freqs. Most of the other scanners just have 80
channels left in the whole radio... :)

Don't forget that they can be computer controlled...
As far as the auto-store, and some of the other features you mentioned go,
just remember that even as wonderful as the 2004/5/6 are they didn't have
those features...like I said, for the diso price of $329.97 it is a good
eal,
you can get the 2042 that "fixes" some of the (I hate to say glitches, but..)
the 2042 is going to cost you $499.99...I don't know about you, but I can
live with quite abit for $170 difference in price :)
