It has been some time since I had the GP Trainer so I forgot it is a
symmetrical airfoil - that's better for aerobatics - this is the bird
that I suggest to our beginning pilots, both to learn to build and learn
to fly - sometimes I help in the building.

That 40 engine will fly the Trainer 40 but don't expect a real screamer.
The OS 40 HP engine is probably the least powerful 40 on the market - I
feel the SF series or Super Tigre engines are better for the Trainer 40.
The HP series ARE mild-powered, easy to start, and very economical in
fuel consumption, and they do not cost "an arm and a leg" like the others.
KB> blame for accidents. :-) Time is valuable and I'd rather fly than
KB> build. Also, it's less nerve wracking to fly (or crash 'n trash)

There are many pilots who don't like to build, don't have time or space -
that's what keeps me going - I have been building for others now for
2 years...and have been so busy this year that I haven't had time to
 build for myself...ugh !
Good luck - keep the birds flying - the hobby is a great sport. We hope
to see you again on the echo. TTYL - Roger
