I shouldn't have opened my mouth. This month's bill has gone up 
to almost $19. I haven't looked to see what all has increased.

That suggestion about the answering service by Ma Bell was a 
good idea. I never thought of that. My cousin has it, and he 
gets something like 5 individual mailboxes, so you could annoy 
your callers just like the big companies do.
I was surprisesd at how inexpensive it was. It works just like 
an answering machine except that you don't have any of the
equipment. I'm not sure if it will pick up while your phone is 
busy without breaking your connection, but it's worth looking into.
The next time the lightning takes out my answering machine, 
I may get that option too.
The text browser at the library is enough for me. It's really 
come in handy for looking up some things. I have run into an 
occasional web site that won't display at all tho.
