Some years ago I read about a factory that was forced to put
scrubbers on their stack, on penalty of being shut down.

The article said that the chemicals they reclaimed from the
scrubbers paid for the installation in under six months!!!

I guess the management were kicking themselves over the value of
the stuff they had been throwing away for years.
