Went to see it with my Lady Wife this afternoon. An excellent film/movie.
Several differences from the book but it would be very difficult to convey
written stuff to a movie; by and large it was very well done (I am
pontificating in an area without my competence).

Two significant departures from the written Two Towers: 

The Ents in the movie decided that they would not intervene until the
Hobbits "tricked" them.

Helm's Deep final defense is not as written.

Arwen Aragorn dilemma was very well addressed.
