On 06 Jan 98, concerning _evidence_, RON TAYLOR said to TROY H. CHEEK in UFO:
>> It seems to me that if the evidence pointed towards ET, or even simply
>> pointed away from a weather balloon, the skeptic should be willing to
>> accept that, and not go into a mental gymnastics routine.

RT> Please Troy, give us some examples of evidence that points towards ET.
Reports by people who met UFO occupants who identified themselves as ET.
I suppose now you'll want to argue that reports aren't evidence. A lot of my
work based on reports, eye-witness accounts, and direct observation, so I
can't agree with that argument.
There's a lot more evidence that points away from weather balloons, or Venus,
or swamp gas. I understand that the swamp gas explaination has fallen out of
favor in the skeptic community, which is a pity. It was one of the easiest
to show that it didn't fit what was actually reported. :-)
