Good for you, Al!

I've been with AT&T a long time, and when they wanted to give me some
extra discounts on my monthly bill, there was a catch to it. When I asked
what the catch was, the person I spoke to told me that I'd have to contract
for 1 year. I asked them if they were looking at my history on their
monitor and received an affirmative. I then asked if they didn't feel a
little silly asking that question. A very good friend of mine from the
"frozen north" advised me to get away from them long ago, but I
hung in there. I don't know whether I'm stubborn or was just curious to
see what new wrinkle they would come up with to the detriment of their
customers. (-:[

P.S. Their "AI" answering machine can now understand whole
sentences and I'm tempted to tell it it's fired. (-:0
