Hi All,

Had always problems with printing DOS Cyrillic textfiles (such as Fido
msgs).
To view, and type cyrillics in DOS net- and echomail has been no problem,
but printing the msg while my printer is in ASCII mode won't work, as the
KOI-8 charset didn't do anything.

In Windows there's no problem with reading, typing and printing Cyrillics
while the printer is in graphics mode.

Also importing the file into Windows didn't do the job for me.

But I found a solution.

Since I changed over to WindowsXP with MS WORD, I save/export those fido
msgs in a textfile. Then read that textfile in Word and select DOS
Cyrillics. At that moment the text is readable _and_ printable.

Best Regards,
      Herman Neut
