  Go back in history and look at what happened in the HAM echo when
  Roy's node disappeared for a few weeks because of an outage caused by
  fire.   Someone used that as an excuse to waltz in and attempt to take
  over his echo.   Once you see that sort of thing, it is difficult to
  ever underestimate what folks might do.
