| subject: | ID, manual and cache RAM for 386dx40 m/bd wanted. |
I've acquired an unknown but supposedly working 386dx40 motherboard. I'd like to know its make/model, and find a manual and some suitable cache RAM for it. On the back of the board is 'SER', the S written as a reversed Z. Model seems to be 386-AD, other stuff '94V-0 FU YU 20 V0 9250'. Has AMD DX-40 (SMT), 387 socket, 6x16bit & 1x8bit ISA slots, 8 SIMM slots, AMI '89 BIOS, room for 8 cache chips, jumpered 64-256K, and another empty socket the same size? Please netmail me at 711/431 if you can help, especially with the manual, want to offer me some cache RAM, or just have comments about the board.
