Unfortunately, it was not that simple. Let me give you some more details.
When I bring up Netscape, the error is:
Netscape is unable to locate the server:
   home.netscape.com
The server does not have a DNS entry.
There is no "Remote Networking" selection available on "My Computer". There
is "Dial-Up Netwoking". When I bring that up, it gives me a phonebook. I
set the phonebook up with my ISP local phone, account #, etc. I get a
successful connect with the ISP, but nothing further happens and the
connection times out.
From the control panel, Network shows:
   Services:
      Computer Browser
      NetBIOS Interface
      Remote Access Services
      RPC Cofiguration
      Server
      Simple TCP/IP Services
      Worksatation
  Protocols:
      NetBEUI Protocol
      TCP/IP Protocol
  Adapters:
      3Com Etherlink III Adapater
  Bindings:
      NetBIOS Interface
      Remote Access Server Service
      Server
      Workstation
      Under each of these shows:
         NetBEUI protocol
         WINS Client (TCP/IP)
         Under each of theses shows:
            Remote Access WAN Wrapper
            3Com Etherlink III Adapter
Modems shows a Sportster 28800-33600 External COM1. Properties show max
speed of 115200, 8N1, hardware flow control.
Internet shows only the Advanced menu, which gives a choice of using a proxy
server only.
Under properties for the TCP/IP protocol, it shows phony IP addresses. The
DNS page is blank. Is there somethign specific that I should put in there?
Something is missing in my configuration, but I can't figure out what. Any
help would sure be appreciated.
