Hi Scott, * In a message originally to Ib Joe, Scott Little said: > The default menu is TOP not MAIN, and the txt display option should be set > to Auto Execute. Except (see an earlier message of mine) the 32bit DOS version appears to have isues displaying text files when running under *real* DOS - is fune under XP's version of "DOS" though - solution for me was to drop down to the normal DOS verion of Ele - voila! menu text files displayed instantly. Don't suppose it's even worth mentioning it as a bug anymore aswe appear unlikely to see anything new from the author - unless of course someone else run with the source. I only have two wishes for Ele - built in OLMR support & docs! The RA docs don't cover everything! :-) Problem is, unless someone does pick up on the source, the software will fall behind - but unfortunately, I can't programme :-( But I can write docs I 'spose! I'd hate to see Ele abandoned, I've always used (except for BBS-PC) QuickBBS & it's clones...... (AndIreallydon'twannauseSynchronet!) cheers, Lance ---* Origin: 43 Degrees South +61-3-6297-8499 (3:712/313.1) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 712/313 848 379/1 396/45 106/2000 633/267 |
