subject: Does Anyone Live In This

BR>I didn't mean to stump everybody with an easy one like the program
BR>doesn't upload anything at all! I thought this was the home of the
BR>experts, or at least that's what a couple friends told me!!!
Well, you got one or two answers to your first post. I went through
the last month's worth of mail this weekend, so I just saw it today.
Since the upload seems to start and progress part way, it seems like
the software is doing its thing. The problem could a bad phone
connection. How many BBSs does it happen on?
Or it could be a problem with the error correction circuitry in one
of the modems.
Or a defective modem.
Or an improper setup string that is allowing your modem to interpret
part of the file as a command to hang up.
BR>How about a company rep lurking around, or are they too busy with their
BR>$129.00 Win95 program?
I don't recall seeing MSI folks here. They support their own echoes
on their own network (MSINet), as well as their own BBS.
BR>If there is an expert, or even a pseudo expert, in attendance, I still
BR>need the help I asked for in "Qmodem Pro for Windows--NEED HELP!".
Try turning on the logging function in QMPro. After an upload fails,
there may be a message explaining what happened.
