Ooh, not a nice thought. There was, for whatever reason, specific
mention of damage to such organs as the liver, spleen, kidneys etc.
I believe that it is easy enough to "bruise" these organs, so, it does
not take much imagination to believe that intense doses of LF sound
could be injurious.
Some years ago I had a wee problem with a hi power sub amp that left
me feeling quite nauseous for a period of time. The amp developed a
power-rail feed-back, likened to "motor-boating" but at a very low
frequency, low enough to be barely perceptible, and it wasn't till I
did some testing (scope etc) to overcome distortion problems that the
nausious feeling dissapeared. It was then and only then did I make a
connection as to why. If I remember rightly the frequency was about
14-18Hz. Decibels unknown, but the amp used a 45 Vdc aside rail,
(90Vdc total) quasi complimentary output stage into 4 Ohm load. The
oscilation was approx 1/3rd Rail voltage.

Sorry, that one's lost on me. Who the h...'s Fabio?
I think I've heard the name amongst the modern rock world?
My main taste in music is '40s '50s '60s, some modern stuff, but not a
lot.
......and you?
