You don't have to remove the powersupply from the box, just bypass it and
power the circuit it from an external supply, or batteries, and see if
that helps.


I had artifacts at mains frequency, that were being generated by an OM350
masthead amp, sticking a resistor between the regulator and the rf choke in
the powersupply module fixed it.
