Oh well, there goes my plan for releasing MSGED next week.  I
always test out the DOS version under OS/2, so I don't know
what's wrong with it.  I'll have to try defining 700 message
areas and trying that, and then get back to you with a debug
version if that doesn't produce the error here.  Do you have
the software + time required to recompile msged for dos if I
give you the latest code, in an attempt to find where exactly
it hangs?  The technology you need is BC++ 3.1 for DOS.  BTW,
can you tell me how many of your echos are *.MSG and how many
are squish?  BFN.  Paul.
