At that time, HAM was in the ELIST. Michiel van de Vlist announced
in the HAM echo that he was taking over as moderator, according to
the rules of EP1, since the previous moderator (i.e. Roy Witt) was no
longer in the nodelist and thus not able to perform his duties as
moderator. Michiel got soundly hooted at by all, and was booted out
of the echo without further fanfare or ceremony.
