One of the engineers at work installed a service pack on his version of
Windows.  The installation of the service pack somehow triggers his legal
copy of MS Office to decide that it needed to be re-activated.  MS Office
would not reactivate over the internet, so he had to call in to Microsoft.

After a half hour on the phone with customer service, he finally got his
copy of MS Office re-activated.
