If you have no other op-systems on the drive (Windy-xx, Linux, ect), go into
the BIOS setup and turn on LBA translation for the hard drive. If your
m-board has an 'auto detect' for the hard drive, use it to detect the drive.
One of the options will show the drive having less then 1024 (or is it 1023)
cylinders. Choose this setting, save the change, re-boot & try again..
Works with my 4 giger anyway..
