Really, it doesn't.  That is, it just lists all the files as "off-line".
Of course, you could use a mecca/mex/batch file combination to detect
which CDs are online, and set user keys depending on the results (eff-
ectively hiding areas which aren't available).
This is particularly easily done with 4Dos.
