I'm not sure of the legal situation. They read on the reverse side,
"Not to be exchanged for cash", and its even been written in
hand. I'm not sure what that means. Also, I can't seem to get cash in
return for an item bought beneath the value of the voucher! For example, if
I buy batteries (God perish the thought) at $4, present a $25 voucher, I
don't get cash back.

I had an argument there!

Done already. They claim that its not under their control (but would like
to see it as such) and that I'm subject to their whims.
