RJT> How does max deal with that?
Max deals with it just fine. I have 15 physical disks and only 5 physical
CD rom drives. When a user tries to look at a file list of a cd that isn't
installed it says the files are "Offline" and the user can't download.
It still does access the drive to look for the file, but it doesn't do any
damage to either a process running or maximus. Go for it!
RJT> Any other pointers about setting up cdrom file areas?
Remember to add the command "CD" to the "Type" command.....
Mine is set for each area as "Type CD NoNew Slow Staged".
Hope that helps...
