Hi John,
I read part of your messages about your experiences with N.A.S.D.S. and
the locations you've had diving experiences from and it is sad to see
someone giving up diving.  Lord knows I will never give up diving but I
don't have that many location to dive without either needing additional
training or a massive filtration system to absorb the mossy,silty lake
and pond bottoms. The best locations to dive from me are Monterey(4hour
drive from my location--I am ancious to dive that location) or Lake
Tahoe(2 hour drive and an altitude dive site). But I have had 2 trips to
Honolulu, Hawaii.  My biggest problem is that my former dive partner and
ex-husband is no longer my dive partner so I am not going to be stupid
and dive alone especially at a location I have never been diving at
before. But My fiance' is ancious to learn we just haven't had the money
lately since we just bought a house. But hopefully soon we will have
more bills behind us and can start saving for his certification and then
we can have more dive time and can save up for some dive trips so as
Dennis was telling you I would urge your wife to try an introductory
dive preferably in a warm, tropical location.
