I could run ./rexl -send -fetch on my debian box and irex worked AI> as expected, but when I tried to run -daemon I would get error 11. THe problem in irex linux is that many people there using linux has got this error and irex linux not like using directly hostnames lookup and poll it. to solve this error is there a way to resolve it is it to set irex to lookup hostname off and then use ip addreses instead of hostnames until Charles has manage to make a new vesion of irex there has fixed the problem. I using the way to manage the problem be nodes ip by writng down the hostname for nodes I polling by "in linux shell checking if a link can be pinged by hostname" and make a "ping bbs.ftngate.net" it gives a ip xx.xxx.xxx.xxx and I write it down and put it in to the links ip instead of hostname and it working no errors from irex.
