 For those who don't recall what it does, it assigns a unique message
 ID number to each message in a Squish-based area.  If used in Max.CTL,
 you'll end up with very high numbers that always increase: say messages
 1182-1382 in an area that only holds 200 messages.  Toss more and it
 goes up more.  Never 1-200. 
 On the other hand, it's hard to tell if that's what he means or not.
