Hi, Steve:
In a message of 16 Oct 96 Grebo Guru wrote to All, and you replied:

Check out Monitoring Times magazine (PO Box 98, Brasstown, NC 28902-0098,
USA; e-mail mt@grove.net) Their "Computers and Radio" columnist (John
Catalano, e-mail either "in care of" the above address or directly via
j_catalano@conknet.com) has been reviewing some products in recent months
that may serve Grebo's needs. If I recall correctly, some products may cover
the shortwave freqs while others specialize in VHF/UHF, though I'm not sure
of details. BTW, for anyone not familiar with the magazine, it's a part of
Grove Enterprises, which sells all kinds of shortwave and VHF/UHF equipment,
and has an excellent reputation for quality and good business practices. In
fact, they used to have a policy of sending a recent back-issue or two to
prospective subscribers, and this may be exactly what Grebo needs to see the
articles I mentioned.
In any case, try contacting some or all of the above for more details on
this technology. If *anyone* knows where to find such stuff, the magazine
editors and/or Mr. Catalano will definitely know. Best wishes to you all.
Cheers, Frank
