I would recommend the Stix design. Heck that plane, well, the Sweet Stix
anyway will do the novice pattern,no problem. Not that hard to build.
Few years back i flew a sweet stix cross-country, 85 miles total. K&B .40 up
front. 8 oz. tank in the body and a second 8oz. tank rubber-baned to the fuel
hatch just behind the motor. Nose heavy as h___ on take-off, but it got up. I
always replaced the wire landing gear with Hallco type.
