If you run it on IIS, you could just set IIS to require https, the problem
is with some mail servers that come with webmail interfaces (and http
servers) of their own. The control is not aways there in those cases and if
you can't set it to reject http and strictly require https then it's
possible to just send someone an email and force a clear text password
request to the server.
