You can get a copy of VC++1.0 ( or maybe 1.5, not sure ),
for around $30 on CD with a Microsoft Press book called:
Teach Yourself Microsoft Visual C++
the Quick and Easy Way
By Mark Andrews - Microsoft Press - ISBN: 1556158459
It is an outdated compiler, targeting DOS and Win3.1.
As a DOS compiler, it is quite adequate, and as a Win3.1
compiler, it is also quite nice. I have VC++1.0 myself and
it's a lot of fun. I don't know if the CD has the Pro version
with the AppWizard and MFC libraries. I should get a copy! :)
