ÿ Hello, Jerry Schwartz, I'd like you to meet my friend, Dr. Lao... jb>> Can't you just tell them to take it to WINDOWS_GRUNT_BURPS? [G] jb>> Isn't the audio hidden behind ^As? If not, that was a very jb>> foolish implementation, unless there's some other rationale. JS> I don't think ^A kludge lines belong in the middle of the text, do they? Your ^AEOTs are essentially in the 'middle' of the 'text'. One problem with EOT is that some tosser (don't recall which) scrunches all kludges to the top of the msg. Nothing inherently 'wrong' with it. In an r18 regional down here some folks were having fun embedding 'hidden' msgs. :) I normally read with kludges off so I didn't notice them until someone mentioned it. JS> In any case, a message that had 10k of kludge lines in it would be just JS> as bad. Absolutely, but at least they wouldn't interfere with normal reading or text2voice converters. :-) jB-) ---* Origin: :nigirO * (1:3646/23) SEEN-BY: 50/99 78/0 270/101 640/101 201 206 217 232 233 238 302 305 370 531 SEEN-BY: 640/820 821 822 823 690/660 711/401 409 413 420 423 430 808 809 924 SEEN-BY: 711/934 713/888 714/906 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 3646/23 141/1105 1135 3615/50 396/1 270/101 640/201 820 711/409 413 @PATH: 711/808 809 934 |
