Are you running SQPACK on a regular basis? Also you may have to run SQSET on 
the message areas to set them to the proper number. At this point you MAY 
have to manually delete some of the old messages and then run Sqpack, but I'd 
try running SQPACK first and see if it'll delete the messages. BUT RUN SQSET 
*FIRST*! (ie SQSET C:\MAX\MESSAGES\MUFFIN 250 0 0 [set's area MUFFIN to 250 
messages, no skip, no "days" of messages])
