There have been people successfully running DOS doors with DOSEMU.

I was snooping the DoveNet Programming echo the other day and spotted this post:

  Finally after an evening of mucking about I managed to get some DOS  
doors running on my BBS. Had a bunch of help from the linux+dosemu 
  setup docs, although they didn't quite work for BRE or FE, but after  
shuffling the paths some, it all worked.
  Longest time spent ever on it since dosemu didn't want to cooperate 
  to begin with.                                                           
               
  Now to add some more doors and finish up with my ANSI's and maybe, 
  god knows, I could just start advertising my board and see about 
  getting some users :D
