I seem to have the opposite experience. Most of my SD cards (from 8Mb to
32Gb) are years old. My thumb drives the same, I have one that has been
on my keychain for 6years, getting knocked about, wet, hot, cold, casing
has come off and taped back... no issues.
Wouldn't buy any other.
