Sterling Garwood  made an utterence to the

I am in the process of debugging my UV-3 ... the audio board uses a 
Motorola IC  - an MC1385P ---
I have searched all over and can't find a data sheet ... I did find an 
article in an old QST (Dec 1980) that seems to talk about replacements 
for the MC1385P but all I have is the index entry on the ARRL web site.
Anyone out there have either a copy of the datasheet for the MC1385P or 
a copy of the ARRL article?
I tossed my Motorola Semiconductor Manuals some years ago during a move 
... arrrgghhhh!!!
