Argh!
I'm developing some PC security software, one feature of which is to
write-protect AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, WIN.INI (and prevent rename, delete
etc).
But although every other package falls over most promisingly when my software
is loaded, QEdit still saves successfully.
Can anyone tell me what calls Q uses to open/write files it saves ?

GD* Hey Richard,
GD* This macro could be shortened to:
GD* F8 MacroBegin SaveFile Dos "C:\SS\SS " CurrentFilename Return
GD* Return EditFile CurrentFilename Return NewFile Return
You're right...As usual. I tried this after I sent the other message,
and it seemed to work perfectly.
Keep up the good work George.
