I still use and pretty much trust Motorific MPSA06 (NPN) & MPSA56 (PNP) 
transmixers.  And their A28 NPN Darlingtons.  Got into using them during 
my stint at United Technologies Automotive.  That also got me hooked on 
Internat'l Rectumfire hexFets.  Best ones going.
