Now you get to bitch about the bassholes who live in apartments or next
door neighbors
having a local Woodstock about once a month. Last time I tried that it
lasted about 15
minutes before the first cops showed up a couple of years ago, and that
was outdoors at
a business location!
The time before that was around the same time as Woodstock and 400
people showed up
at a farm along with 7 of the local constables in their cars....
Metalica recently did a "hit and
run" concert in the parking lot of the Tower Recoreds here at Watt and
El Camino... I heard
most of it from here (about 4.5 blocks catty cornerd from that store)..
drove up on a flatbed
truck, did a quick set and was "outa there". Not that I'm complaining...
I was trying to find
out where that band was cuz it definitely sounded live and hot!
My favorite thing to hate is those gas blowers(besides the "bassholes")
that are used to blow
the dust around so that the wind can blow it around so you need to go
blow the dust and debrie off again, or a jack
hammer outside of your bedroom window at 7AM!!! Then, being in the
landing pattern of
McClellan A.F.B. has had some interesting and sometimes scary sounding
aircraft landing
in the middle of the night in addition to the regular air traffic and
the "thumpers" going by.

The Dyna "Tube" cubes? Alright! My kind of amps! I lost a pair in the
local Flood of '86
along with most of my recordings and library. There is a chance that one
of them survived
though but haven't had the time to look it over yet.
>Now, know where I can find some 550VDC laser discharge caps?
I'll keep an eye out for some..

Well, I'm getting into doing little informative additions to my messages
in the echo that
might help get folks to consider their abilities to hear in the future.
I came very close to
loosing my hearing when I was very young, with the detrimental effects
being occasional
vertigo and a "auto clamping" that my ear trys to do at about 110dB and
above, usually
accompanied by instant fingers in ears. Hearing is my occupation and a
very
important part of my life, without which I'd be a far sadder person.
