Mike,
If the stock is too long, Your face will be too far from the scope when
our
head is fairly erect (mabe tilted downwards as though looking at the ground
30-40 feet away), and there is no way you could possibly touch your trigger
hand thumb to your nose while the very tip of your trigger finger is touching
the trigger and our cheek is in the normal shooting position. If your your
nose
is within a few inches of your thumb knuckle while looking thru the scope,
nd
the scope is overhanging the stock so the eyepiece is over the web of the
shooting hand, your stock is probal;y about right.
Make sure your problem is not just having the scope mounted too far rearward,
forcing our head and shoulders back. I am shorter than you (5'7") and can
shoot
the Pro Elite comfortably, without straining.
