Ummmm, how about Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange"? I thought that sucked
big-time...

I've heard that, but I'm not sure.

Mine says HDTV on the face of it and it has a scan rate of 720p. Pay more
attention to the picture scan capability and contrast ratio. If you buy
one that is only 720p, that's the best picture you can expect to see on
it. Our Fox affiliate broadcasts in 1080i, which is the best picture
available for the time being. Your 720p TV won't be able to display that
picture. My friend Andrew bought a 40" Pro-Scan LCD, which is only a
720p...In the same row of 40" TVs when I went to look, there was a Sony
with a 1080p scan rate that had a much better picture on it than the one
he bought. I would have given them the extra $300 they wanted for it and
have been happy with that deal.
RN> Next time I go, I'll check. I also noticed the absense of
RN> plasma TVs. I wondered about the significance of that.
Heat...With the LEDs on the way, everybody is waiting.
