JD>Sounds like an interesting dive. I guess I just
JD>haven't been on a wreck that large. So far the
JD>largest I've done is 220 feet and I thought it was
JD>huge. I think I can kind of see where they're coming
JD>from though. I'm willing to bet there have been
JD>quite a few deaths due to getting lost.
The Duane has a sister ship (The Bibb) which was sunk
less than half a mile away, however The Bibb lays on her
side at almost a 90 degree angle in slightly deeper water.
Both wrecks are on the edge of the Gulf Stream and the
depth plus the current require some special safety
considerations from all divers. Needless to say, there
have been a number of senseless deaths on these wrecks.
JD>That's a lot of lobster, I could live a long time on
JD>that much. I'm really not a fish person but I like
JD>shellfish. The only thing I would miss in Fla are
JD>clams.
You can always go to Hooters and order them by the dozen. :)
