BJ> I believe there is a location in Russia that did BJ> succeed in compiling Scott's original code release, at BJ> least for Squish. Most of the rest of us were BJ> interested in an eventual port to Linux.... I'm BJ> interested in both OS/2 and Linux versions for now, and BJ> wouldn't mind a Win32 version.... At the time, the BJ> Open Watcom compiler was still being worked on..... BJ> There are more options now..... Open Watcom lost all of its DOS cross-compiler APIs. I found Watcom 10.6a <-- don't know what that 'a'lpha(?) really means - (will have to ask somebody) - 11 and 11c patch torrents. I'm only interested in obtaining what Scott Dudley never released - the Maximus 3.02 binaries. Once I have it I'll be the only BBS in the western hemisphere running Max 3.02 (woohoo !). A hopefully unadulterated, final version of Scott-the-man-Dudley's legacy. Keeping forsaken dreams alive baby. ... and then patched with my own modifications. Hee hee. There're so many things in 3.01 bugging me. ML> Probably too much to ask :) BJ> At the moment I don't think any one is setup to do it.... I'm taking a look at it. I think I got all the requirements, Watcom 10.6 / 11 Masm 5.10 Turbo C touch utility Now for the fun & games ... I'm sure there'll be plenty. --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: Top Hat 2 BBS (1:343/41) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 343/41 138/146 392 123/500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
