I used to run max from 1994 to about 2000...  I might be able to help if you
can post the error(s).  I don't think there is support for Maximus anymore.

I have asked, but no replies, so  just switched to another BBS Package with
FTP, WEB Interface, Mail, Gopher, NNTP, etc.
