I don't think so, I never had any problem with Sync's packets. What
status are they, crash?

Are you using BSO or Arcmail attach? I wonder if the path to your netmail
directory is correct (if arcmail attach).

It's configurable in irex's setup. SBBS won't touch them so you need to
do that yourself. I had mine setup something like \sbbs\data\btrescan.0
Instead of running sbbsecho directly when it saw fidoin.now (or fidoout.now)
I ran a bat file and at the end of the bat file I had 
"type nul> \sbbs\data\btrescan.0" and that touches the date of
that file.

Yes, on linux I run "touch somefile.ext" to touch the filedate, the same
can be done on OS/2 or windows with "type nul>somefile.ext".
