Speaking of feeding our pets. BARK magazine (you can Google for this)
featured an article not long ago "why are our pets obese"? Heh. That's
not hard! Just ask "why are WE or our kids Obese"?

People who don't eat right and don't exercise enough tend to have
pets the same way ; they share junk food with their pets and wonder
why the pets get fat too? gee. Rocket Science here

I have a feeling though that article was geared at promoting Diet Dog
Food, though rather than promoting common sense (which isn't.)
