Hello Jean-Claude. 11 Aug 06 19:12, you wrote to me: JD> I played with a backup of my old BBS under XP and it seems to be JD> working fine. I used GameSvr and netfoss/netcom. Didn't try the modem JD> tho, but I know at least one BBS that runs Max 3 under XP with no JD> problems. I've been meaning to try out GameSvr someday. Not sure about netfoss, though... I thought I tried it out once but wasn't happy with it. (poor performance, and some other quirks I found frustrating) It may have been some other incarnation, similar to the one you're running, though. I like Winfossil because it's pretty much trouble-free for DOS communication apps under NT-based windows. I haven't found one yet that didn't work very well with it. --- GoldED/W32 3.0.1* Origin: MikE'S MaiL MaCHinE!
