subject: setting up listening port

Hi all, I downloaded Maximus a few months ago,
and I am just now finding the time to play with it.
I get errors when I run bin/runbbs.sh.
I had thought that I could pass in a port number
using parameter -p, but when I run the script, I see
these error messages:

! 23 Feb 18:28:31 MAX Could not open device! (/dev/ttyS5099)
! 23 Feb 18:28:31 MAX SYS0001: ComOpen(com5100)
! 23 Feb 18:28:31 MAX Could not initialize communications library

here is the code I am using to run max:

while /bin/true
do
  [ -f "${PREFIX}/die.now" ] && break
  bin/max -w -b38400 -n0 -p5100
  sleep 1
done

I have not looked at the source code yet, but I figured I's post a
message incase it was something simple like I'm using the
wrong parameter. :)

Thanks!

Jim
